HMDTool is a toolkit that allows you to download and install firmware files for the Nokia 1020, 930, 808 PureView, and other Nokia devices. The Nokia HMDTool Kit was originally released in December 2018 as a closed beta. On March 15th, 2019, it was made available to all users. You can download HMDTool from the Microsoft Store here or from the Nokia site here.

3) Click on Tools and then on HMD Tool Kit.
4) On the next screen, click on Start scan.
5) The tool will start scanning your phone for available updates and will show you a list of updates that are compatible with your device. If there are any updates that are not compatible with your phone, they will be listed in red and you will be given the option to ignore or select them.
6) Once the scan is complete, click on Install selected update(s).
7) The tool will now start the installation process of the selected updates. Once it is finished, tap on Close.
